ABOUT US
Run River Run is a Charleston-based Americana folk-rock band built around melody, harmony and a song-first live show. Their sound pulls from acoustic Americana, rock, folk and R&B without settling into a single lane - familiar enough to connect quickly, but never built from a formula.
The band can scale from acoustic settings to a full electric lineup, making the group a natural fit for listening rooms, breweries, festivals, private events and larger stages. Original music sits comfortably beside thoughtfully chosen covers, with the emphasis always on musicianship, vocal blend and an easygoing connection with the room.

SETLIST
Run River Run performs a flexible mix of original music and carefully chosen covers, with a sound rooted in modern Americana, alt-country and roots rock. Musically, we live in the same broad landscape as artists like Jason Isbell, Tyler Childers, and Josiah and the Bonnevilles, while drawing on earlier influences including Ryan Adams, Wilco, Counting Crows and the alternative and roots-rock music we grew up with in the 1990s.
Our cover repertoire follows that same path, with songs by Jason Isbell, Tyler Childers, The Wood Brothers, The Lumineers, Drivin' N' Cryin' and The Head and the Heart, along with selected classics from Tom Petty, The Band, Van Morrison, Johnny Cash, John Prine, Steve Earle, The Rolling Stones and others.
We can tailor a performance from almost entirely original material to a longer-format show mixing originals with recognizable Americana, country, folk and rock covers—all arranged to feel like part of a cohesive Run River Run show.
